Jason Friesen
Since 1996, Jason has been a Real Estate Appraiser in the City of Kamloops and is currently a managing partner of Frilan Appraisals LLP, which provides real estate valuation and consulting services in the City and surrounding areas. The types of property valuations completed by Jason include: residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, multi-family residential, development lands and leasehold interests. Jason has also completed appraisals for acquisition and disposal purposes for Provincial, Regional and Municipal governments.
Jason was a Director for Venture Kamloops from 2011 to 2017, and is actively involved in the KTA – Kamloops Tennis Association, and has served as a Director. Jason has been involved in an assortment of junior tennis programs and coaches high-school tennis at South Kamloops Secondary.
Education
In 1987 Jason graduated from Kamloops Senior Secondary and went on to obtain his BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in 1994. In 1996 Jason graduated from Langara College with a Diploma in Real Estate Appraisals.

Brent Lane
In 1992, Brent started working for Flynn Mirtle Moran which is a real estate appraisal firm in Kamloops, BC. With the exception of 15 months from November 1995 to January 1997, Brent worked at Flynn Mirtle Moran until October of 2006. While at Flynn Mirtle Moran, the types of properties appraised included residential, strata title, leasehold, vacant land, rural, acreage, recreational and income producing properties. Other duties while at Flynn Mirtle Moran included the training of new candidate members which were hired by the firm.
From November 1995 to January 1997, Brent worked as an appraiser with BC Assessment in Pitt Meadows, BC. The valuation assignments with BC Assessment included primarily residential, farm and industrial properties.
Brent left Flynn Mirtle Moran in October 2006 to establish a new appraisal firm with a business partner - Frilan Appraisals LLP. A growing demand for appraisal services in the Kamloops region and a strong desire to efficiently service our existing clients and potential clients resulted in the establishment of Frilan Appraisals LLP. As part owner of the firm, duties include complex appraisal assignments (i.e. residential, recreational, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties), the training of staff and the day-to-day operation of the business.
Education
In 1987, Brent graduated from high school (Kamloops Senior Secondary) and went onto achieve a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1992 majoring in Urban Land Economics. Brent achieved his Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation in 1996 and then achieved his Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI, P.App) designation in June of 2003.

Ken Inskip
Ken was born and raised in Kamloops, and graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2005 with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.
Ken worked in the insurance field before joining Frilan Appraisals LLP in 2014. Types of properties appraised include residential, strata title, leasehold, vacant land, rural, acreage, recreational, and income producing propertes. In 2024, he was awarded use of the professional designation AACI (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute) and P. App (Professional Appraiser) by the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Braden Armstrong
Braden was born in Kamloops and split his time growing up between Kamloops and Vernon. Braden graduated First Class Standing from Thompson Rivers in University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Braden is currently a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is working towards receiving his AACI – Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada designation.
Dustin Wiebe
Dustin was raised in various areas of BC including Enderby, Vancouver, and Surrey before moving to Alberta. He has since moved back to BC and has been living in Kamloops since 2020.
Dustin began appraising in 2014 and completed his Bachelor of Management degree from Athabasca University in 2016. He attained his CRA, P.App designation in 2019. Dustin has appraised a variety of residential properties in the three Western provinces.

Anthony Luca
Anthony was born and raised in Kamloops and graduated from Norkam Secondary School in 2013. Anthony graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance.
Anthony is currently a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is working towards receiving his AACI – Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada designation.

Ana Moreira
Ana was raised in Ashcroft, BC and moved to Kamloops in 2009 after graduating from Ashcroft Secondary School. She graduated from the Administrative Assistant program at Thompson Rivers University in May of 2019. She joined Frilan Appraisals LLP in October of 2019 as an Administrative Assistant.
In her spare time, Ana enjoys reading, watching her favourite movies, and hiking the many beautiful trails in the interior of BC.
