Jason Friesen

Jason has been a fee appraiser and real property consultant in the Kamloops area since 1996 and a partner with Frilan Appraisals LLP since 2006. Property valuations completed include residential, commercial, industrial, intuitional, multi-family residential, development lands and leasehold interests. He has also completed appraisals for acquisition and disposal purposes completed for various levels of Government.

Jason is currently a Director for Venture Kamloops and is actively involved in the KTA – Kamloops Tennis Association, and had served as a Director to the KTA. Jason has been involved in an assortment of junior tennis programs and still competes in tennis tournaments throughout British Columbia.

Accreditations include: BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration Degree; AACI – Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada; P.App – Professional Appraiser


 

Brent Lane

Brent has worked in the real estate appraisal field since 1992 and has been a partner with Frilan Appraisals LLP since 2006. The bulk of his experience has been in the private sector with the exception of 15 months from November 1995 to January 1997. The 15 month time frame was spent employed with BC Assessment in Pitt Meadows, BC.

Brent has completed a wide range of appraisal assignments over the years, including residential, strata title, leasehold, vacant land, rural, acreage, recreational and income producing properties. The valuation assignments with BC Assessment included primarily residential, farm and industrial properties.

Along the way, Brent achieved his Bachelor of Commerce Degree (B.Comm) from the University of British Columbia in 1992, majoring in Urban Land Economics, his Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation in 1996 and then achieved his Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI, P.App) designation in June of 2003.


 

Geoff Michell

Geoff graduated from College Heights Secondary in Prince George and moved to Kamloops in 1994. Geoff then moved on to graduate from Simon Fraser University in 1997 with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Geoff is currently a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is taking courses toward receiving his AACI - Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada designation.

Geoff was employed at Flynn Mirtle Moran from July 2004 to January 2007. His experience includes residential, strata title, rural, acreage and leasehold properties.


 

Ken Inskip

Ken was born and raised in Kamloops. Ken graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2005 with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Ken worked in the insurance field before joining Frilan Appraisals in 2014 and is currently a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is taking courses towards receiving his AACI – Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada designation.


 

Amanda Lidster

Amanda was born and raised in Kamloops, and graduated from Sahali Secondary School. Amanda spent two years in Louisiana going to University on a tennis scholarship. She moved back to Kamloops to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2015.

Amanda is currently a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is taking courses toward receiving her AACI - Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.


 

John O'Neill

John graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in 2015 and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) in 2014. During his time at TRU John was an Economics Teaching Assistant, student representative for the School of Business and Economics, a member of the Finance Club, and was one of four members of his cohort to represent TRU for the 2015 MBA Case Competition held in Calgary.

John previously worked in management and customer service for a short time after graduation before joining Frilan Appraisals in 2016 and is currently working toward receiving his AACI – Accredited Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada designation.

Being born and raised in Kamloops John takes advantage of the outdoor opportunities the area has to offer and enjoys hiking, kayaking, golfing and camping in his spare time.


 

Kathy Jansen

Kathy graduated from NorKam Senior Secondary in 1980. She joined Frilan Appraisals LLP in January 2010 as Office Assistant.


 

Kim Cartwright

Kim grew up in Kamloops, graduated from Kamloops Senior Secondary and attended the Legal Secretary program at Cariboo College. She joined Frilan Appraisals LLP in January 2015 as Office Manager and has 25 years of experience in various areas of office administration.


 

Lexi Thorne

Lexi was born and raised in 100 Mile House, BC and had moved to Kamloops in 2012 to attend Thompson Rivers University. She received her Administrative Assistant Certificate at TRU and attended the two year Police and Justice Studies Program. She joined Frilan Appraisals LLP in January 2016 as Office Assistant.

In her spare time, Lexi enjoys playing hockey, running, and is a gym enthusiast.
